Program 02 · Kids
A room where kids learn to listen.
The Axis kids program teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with age-appropriate drills, cooperative games, and a focus on respect and self-control. The room is quiet when it should be, moving when it should be, and never loud.
Ages 6 to 12
A single kids bracket, ages 6 through 12 — one class, grouped by size and skill rather than a strict age cut. The goal is for every child to train with peers at a comparable size and pace, and for the room to stay small enough that each student gets direct instructor attention.
What a class looks like
45 minutes. Warm-up through movement games, two or three technique focuses with partner work under direct instructor supervision, and a short cooperative drill at the end. Belt tests are earned, not scheduled.
Discipline and character
Jiu-Jitsu rewards patience, respect for a training partner, and the honest admission that you got caught. We teach those habits deliberately — they transfer off the mat. Parents are welcome to watch from the viewing bench.
Parents
A free trial lets your child try one class with no commitment. If they come back, membership is a short monthly conversation — no long contracts, no belt-test fees, no gi upsells. We handle it the way we'd want it handled if it were our child.

The best way to understand what Axis is is to walk in. One class, no commitment.
